About cloudwithsingh: Making Azure Accessible
Why I started cloudwithsingh and what I'm trying to build for the cloud community.
People ask me why I create content, why I train, why I spend hours on things I could just... not do.
Fair question. Here's my answer.
The Problem I Saw
Cloud learning is broken in specific ways:
Too theoretical. Most courses teach you to pass exams, not do jobs. You memorize service names without understanding when to use them.
Too intimidating. People think they need CS degrees, years of experience, or natural brilliance. They don't.
Too fragmented. Information exists, but it's scattered across documentation, videos, forums, and tribal knowledge. Beginners don't know where to start.
Too focused on hype. Every tutorial covers the hot new service. Few help you master the fundamentals that matter every day.
I kept seeing smart people struggle — not because they couldn't learn, but because they couldn't find clear guidance.
What cloudwithsingh Is
It's my attempt to fix what I can.
Practical education. Every piece of content I create asks: "Does this help someone do their job?" If not, I don't publish it.
Honest guidance. I tell people what actually matters versus what sounds impressive. I tell them when something is overhyped. I tell them when they're overcomplicating.
Accessible teaching. You don't need a specific background to learn Azure. You need curiosity and a willingness to practice. I try to meet people where they are.
Community building. Learning alone is hard. I'm building spaces where people can ask questions, share progress, and support each other.
What I'm Not Doing
I'm not building a certification mill. Certifications help, but they're tools, not goals.
I'm not pretending everything is easy. Cloud is complex. I'll help you navigate the complexity, not pretend it doesn't exist.
I'm not gatekeeping. The cloud industry needs more people. I want to help more people get in, not fewer.
The Vision
Imagine someone two years from now:
- They have a stable cloud career
- They support their family with good income
- They felt capable and supported while learning
- cloudwithsingh was part of their journey
That's the goal. Not views, not followers, not revenue. People with better careers because I helped them get there.
Everything else is vanity metrics.
Why "cloudwithsingh"
Singh is my name. Cloud is the domain. It's not clever — it's clear.
When you search "cloudwithsingh," you know what you're getting: cloud education from Parveen Singh. That's the point.
